School for the Deaf student-chefs serve up fundraising banquet May 19
Culinary Arts students from the Texas School for the Deaf, 1102 S. Congress Ave., are planning to showcase their skills at a fundraising banquet May 19 at the Downtown Hilton, 500 E. Fourth St.
Under the supervision of Hilton's professional chefs and staff, the student-chefs will prepare gourmet courses and wine pairings. Students will provide live entertainment, and silent and live auctions will also take place.
