Romney and Pawlenty will not be McCain's running mate.

Looks like he his attempting to pull those Clinton supporters to his side by choosing Palin. Isn't it a shame that he thinks that the American people are so shallow as to vote based on gender?

And 6 months ago, in a taped interview, she stated that she would not go to Washington if asked. More contradiction from the right.

Since the McClain supporters are so big on attacking Obama based on experience, I wonder how they will justify the mere 2 years in office for McCain's running mate?

Obviously she changed her mind about it. We sometimes change our minds about something that matters to us most right? :)

Remember politics are full of contradictions especially in elections on both sides. :aw:

Soon enough we will find out why McCain chose Mrs. Palin as her running mate since he owed us an explanation on his reasons especially experiences.

Absolutely. I've got CNN on and am awaiting his announcement from Dayton.

Evidently, even the conservatives have a lot of questions regarding his choice. Looks like the social conservatives are the only ones in full support.

One hour ago, I talked about Probably pick VP from Alaska. Nobody believe me. My co-workers came up to tell me... Correct.

I started joke picked Eskimo.

Anyway... Will hurt McCain's poll?
Why.... I read news, "Officials report John McCain has picked little-known Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his running mate"

Absolutely. But in this particular race, we seem to be seeing much more contradiction coming from the right, and especially from the far right.;)

I think his choice is indicative of his double standard. He has consistently focused on Obama's lack of experience, and then turned around and picked a first term Governor with 2 years in office as a VP running mate. If Obama's lack of experience makes him unqualified to lead, how is it that she would be qualified to take over the Presidency if something happened to McCain?

In end, people don't vote for the VP candidate, they cast their vote for the Presidential candidate. But his choice is evidence of his complete lack of authenticity and accountability.

To have female in part of leader under McCain is bring some point toward the voter.
