I'm doing a research about proposed bills (we're doing a Government stimulation in school) And on the paper i don't really quite understand what they're asking me:
"Bill 3: Be it enacted in the House of Representatives and Senate assembled that:Section 1: Troop withdrawal from Afghanistan will begin July 31,2011. All US combat forces will be removed by July 31,2014.
Section 2) Following the removal of combat troops, 50,000 US security forces will remain in Afghanistan."
I have to vote if i am against or with it. And explain why i am. Then i have to find a resource to support my statement that goes with it. I've been trying to come up with an statement for this for about 2 hours or so. And i need help on this. I have researched at the House of representatives website, and i didn't really find anything about it. So i thought I asked for help, or if you want you can give your opinion here, and this will basically give me an idea of what the statement is talking about.
