Hello, I am currently working on a graduate school project involving the creation of a computer-based solution to foster communication between deaf children and their parents. For anyone who may be interested, I would greatly appreciate your participation in a survey to help me and my group understand the unique factors that would influence our design of such a solution. For your convenience, I am providing two links to anonymous online surveys (one for deaf individuals, one for parents of deaf individuals), which have been created for this purpose. No personally identifying information will be requested.
I would also ask that you forward these links to other deaf individuals or their parents, if you know of any who might be interested in contributing to our study, so that we can gather input from a variety of sources. On a side note, our initial proposal describing our idea for a computer-based solution was accepted to an international conference called CHI (computer-human-interaction), making it more possible for such a solution to be developed. We are currently refining our idea based on potential user responses. Thanks for any help that you choose to give!
