I remember the "Sorry Charlie!" tuna fish commerical which was a cartoon (a cartoony tuna fish with Buddy Holly glasses)....the Burger King commercials in the 70s......"Do Not Squeeze the Charmin!" commercial with Mr. Whipple.....Rosie putting her hands in Polotive (a dishwashing/hand lotion) in a bowl (I used to think that was tacky)......Remember this 1970s song in a hair dye commercial, "I'm Gonna Wash That Gray Right Outta My Hair!"?......"Mikey Likes It!!" with that Life cereal commercial.....and many others.
I remember cracking up at one commercial when I was about 7 or 8 years old (1977 or 1978) when I saw this guy who was going to get rid of termite, and he fell through the floor.....he got up and looked around at the floor dazed while still in the hole.
Man, I miss those years. Today, kids have all of those technology toys to play with all day, but in my time, we had neighborhood kids next door to play with outside!!
