I have two dear friends I would like to take a moment and remember. They both committed suicide.

Kenny, who was a childhood friend, killed him by train in 1995. He would have been 39 years old Febuary 19th.

And, a good friend of mine from HS, died slowly from an eating disorder in 1991. She would have turned 34 Febuary 23rd.

These were two of the sweetest people I have ever known.

A peice of me went with them when they died. I will miss them, always.

Thanks, guys.

It's hard for me to accurately express how I feel. I've been profoundly affected by both their deaths, and I wanted to remember them in some way.

:hug: Aww, girl. I am so sorry for your loss. I can only begin to imagine what it must be like to lose a best friend to suicide. I pray it is something I never have to experience. Kenny and Lynn will live on forever, in your heart. Remember them fondly, my friend...for the good times you've shared with them. These are the things that should be recalled.

Hang in there, sweetie. Beautiful lyrics. Take solace in knowing you are cherished deeply.
 
Beautiful lyrics you got here. It reminds me of my great good friend that died when he fell & hit his head, slip into swimming pool and drown when he was cleaning for his parents.
