My name is Asura Enkhbayar and I am an Electronics Student in Vienna, Austria. The reason why I am here is that I am currently writing my bachelor thesis. The topic is Eye-tracking but that doesn't explain why I am here...
My father is deaf (I only speak Mongolian Sign Language and a bit Austrian SL) and one time he told me, that it is really annoying to chat with more than 2,3 friends of him. (He uses oovoo or skype a lot ...) The reason he told me was, that it can become quite confusing if someone starts talking parallel to another one. Then I thought, that there has to be something in order to solve that problem...
My idea was to write a program which simulates eye contact. As you chat with multiple partners, the program will let your partners know if you are watching them or not. So if someone else starts doing something and you will be able to know if it concerns you or not. It would be comparable to a a real life chat with multiple persons.
Anyway... long story short. I wanted to reach a big community and simply ask if you know that problem as well? If yes, i wanted to know if you would install such an add-on for skype, for instance.
