Hi guys,
Name is Laura, I work on the media relations team at Purple Communications. On Saturday, Purple Communications is honoring Tayler Mayer, technology maven and entrepreneur as one of Purple®'s 2009 Dream Bigger Trailblazers.
Purple Communications, through the Dream Bigger campaign is honoring 10 Trailblazers nationwide who have made a different in the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Tayler is this year's first Trailblazer to be honored.
Just thought it was worth passing along info on the event as it is open to the public, if you're in the area, definitely stop by. Here's the logistics:
Date: June 13, 2009
Time: 1PM-5PM - workshops on Purple's P3 Optimized Purple Netbook and
other products.
6:45PM-9:00PM -- Tayler's Honorary Presentation
Location: Crowne Plaza Hotel - 1500 South Raymond Avenue in Fullerton, CA.
Details: The event, which will feature former Miss Deaf America, Lauren Teruel Ridloff as emcee of the festivities including an onstage interview with Mr. Mayer as well as a question and answer session will take place from 6:45 pm to 9:00 pm, PDT. Light appetizers will be served.
