problem with system restore of XP

All the system restore points has been gone :( and I can't make a new system restore point for unknown reasons.. when I want to make a new one XP seems to make it but when I check I see there is no system restore point

any advice ?

Get a Acronis Trueimage or Norton Ghost!!

I can't trust System Restore, It's purely crap!! It won't help!
 
Yeah, system restore sounds good in theory, but it doesn't work when you want it to...

Has anyone managed to restore a HD using DriveImageXML (freeware)?

id ask my mate about these two, he's a hardcore geek freak. it's be interesting to see what he says.
