First off I have no hearing loss or speech difficulties. However, I do have 2 children that are visually impaired, thus my heart to help people no one else sevices. Now to the point. I sat down with a client of mine, not knowing she was an interpreter for the deaf. She mentioned holding an educational seminar on how money works, (highlighting education in the areas of debt reduction, mortgages, auto, home and life insurance as well as investing) might be VERY helpful to the deaf and HOH community. There would be no cost for the 2 hour seminar. After hearing this from my client I began to think this might just be a GREAT idea. So I decided to get on the internet boards and see if there would be any interest in this seminar. As I am a guest here on this board I will ask you to contact me through my email with any responses.
