Possible develop cat allergy as adult?

Is possible develop allergy cats as adult?
 
Yes. The more exposure to potential allergens, the worse the result can be.
 
Crappy! Think I develop allergy cats. Cannot breathe!!! At first I think is asthma (mine poorly control) but not think so now. Eyes water, throat on fire, chest cough, sinus congestion...only change is sister cat!

It probably is asthma. I get very dangerous asthma attacks from things I am allergic to.
 
Ugh. Probably. Asthma huge pain! Take two preventative meds, one rescue, still use rescue multiple times each day. Not sure what else need do! Lung transplant? Lol.
 
awww do you have a dog at home too? i was growing with both dogs and cats. I had some allergy and always thought both of dogs and cats. My parents like animals and am do i. about 16 yrs ago, my hub begged me to adopt kitties so we went for it and i am shocked that i didnt sneeze cats. Obviously, its dogs. every time i visited my friends while i was in college and still sneeze when they had dogs. now it is very interesting i think i grew out of dog sneezing. But i ll test with dogs later since i wanted to adopt a tiny dog. if you do not have dogs at home then it must be cats. :(
 
Actually she have chihuahua too! I just assume was cat since I not like cats, lol.

Remember dogs like, ShihTzu, Poodle, Yorkie, all the ones that need hair cuts, are very low allergen.

That is why I can keep these dogs. So you will probably have luck adopting a dog if you follow that guideline.

Poodles do not shed and that is great! But they do need a lot of grooming. If she get a poodle as puppy it would be wise to get it used touched all over it body and especially the legs! When NEADS was training Finlay they let him get away with not having his legs brushed. When I got Finlay his legs where so matted you could not get a brush through his fur! Poor doggie!
