What’s your name again?

People must really like one another’s bodies.
In a late night with too many cheap drinks,
Too much dancing and too many people,
It seems too easy to let go of your personality
And just become a body with a head of hormones.
No bantering, talking, “getting to know” or personalizing
The person who you’re flirting, kissing, touching,
Becoming personal.

There isn’t a word for the men and women who do this;
Who start with the physical and later find out
The mental. A college profressor said
“Nowadays, kids will have sex, then they may date.”
I say, “They’re just going back to their roots, getting instinctual.”

It’s easy to lose a name when you see his crotch and gasp;
It’s easy to lose a name when you are staring at her ass.
Mating before Dating.

Tell me what you think.

lets move this zero up

I read your poem days ago but I didnt really know what comment I had on it.
Its true how nowadays this does seem to be rampantly the case. And it is very very much tied into the usage of alcohol which makes a person lose their inhibition. The tone of the writer doesnt seem to be one that condemns it but more or less is understanding of what is going on and what is the cause.

I personally have issues with alcohol due to the negative effects that I see it has on the society. It definetely causes more harm than good..

So i ask the author. Do you think that is the case? If you wanted to better society would you keep alcohol around or would you ban it..?

Just wondering.

I also ended up responding because I saw you had zero relies and since my poem " Worms of Hope" also has zero replies other than me telling people to GIVE Me some replies..

i thought to message you..

so respond and tell me what you think as well

peace
blessings
guidance
