Hi,
I am hearing impaired and work for AT&T Internet Services in a call center helping customers with their internet issues.
I currently am using a HATIS headset for the past 4 years and love it. At my job we are currently using a phone system called ASPECT. In order for my HATIS headset to work I had to have an adapter that plugs into the PLANTRONICS box. We are moving to a new phone system in 3 weeks called AVAYA and my manager is not sure if my headset will work with that system. For one thing there is no box that it will hook into. So im pretty sure it has to be a direct connection from my headset into the AVAYA phone unless there is some other adapter it will hook up to.
Is there anyone there that will know if my headset will work on the AVAYA phone system or can find out for me as to what I would need to get to make it work and if there is some other kind of headset I will need to get? I really would prefer to use the HATIS as I am comfortable with it but if there is something better out there that I dont know about let me know as well. I have 2 Behind The Ear hearing aids.
Thanks
Tom
