I would not be surprised to see Peyton Manning end up with Colts. Trust me, Colts did not want to negotiate with Peyton. They just let him go. See, go test out the free agency market. No one will give you anywhere close to $28 million. He may end up signing up with Colts after all is said and done for much less than $28 million. It's all about the money.

I'm sure that Colts will welcome back Peyton if he agrees to sign for much less than $28 million after dust of free agency and NFL draft is done with.
 
I highly doubt that Manning will return to the Colts. 12 teams have contacted him already since his announcement. There are teams that really think he still has "it" and I would bet they are willing to make room in their salary cap to sign him.
 
He have to do for less because he is old and had several injury history.
