Hi,

Are you one of the people who have had difficulty using the telephone mainly because other people cannot understand your voice? Or are you one of the people who is trying the CapTel beta but is having difficulty with CapTel because your voice is not clear enough for other people to understand on the phone?

I have put together a computerized voice software program that is useful for the telephone:
http://www.alldeaf.com/showthread.php?t=6906

This software that I made solves the problem for people who want to use VCO or CapTel but that their voice is not clear enough for other people to understand. It is a modified version of existing Text-To-Speech software.

Let me know what you think of this software program!

Thanks!

I have now upgraded the software and posted a new version -

Version 2.1 of Real Time Text-To-Speech here:
http://www.marky.com/files/tts/SpeechToTextTest_v21.zip

It doesn't even wait for you to finish typing before it begins speaking -- it reads out what you type in realtime. Fixes a few bugs. Visual Studio .NET C# source code included. Recommended download of Speech SDK 5.1 from Microsoft, as well as installation of Microsoft .NET Framework (from Windows Update).

Thanks,
