The Third World Deaf Squash Championship starting in Melbourne in Australia from October 4-9 has four boys and two girls who are representing Pakistan.

In this regard, Coach Asim Amin said that boys and girls are training hard in the training camp in Punjab Sports Complex. The selection of players was done on basis of trials.

The Pakistan team includes Aliya Sarfaraz who has always given her best in tournaments. She is at No 5 in national ratings.

Meanwhile President Pakistan Deaf Association Dr Khalid Jamil said that deaf players are most successful in such type of sport, as they cannot hear any thing and can concentrate hard on the game.
