old folks stop driving!!!!

Not always the case! I think both sides have similiar risks. Problem for teenager is that they think they have better reflex, and can react in NO time. Sure! But vehicle can NOT react as fast as teenager can! On other hand old fart have slower response rate, however their experience and wisdom makes them think they are safer driver and didn't notice anything that is about to bring accident until a mile away and figured out that accident happened and wondering how this U#@%(#@$ happened?

Good example here near my area. A employee in toll booth handing out the fare ticket discovered a human on right side of windshield and called cop. Cop stopped and asked the driver whose about 70 years old about this dead guy. That driver had NO clue this dead body was in front of him!!! Investigation is now undergoing. no charges is pending as of yet. UNREAL!

Other good example, a teenager drove a sport car, not far from here had speeding and thought he can handle the sharp curve which actually sent him to hospital intensive care unit!

So, these two good examples proved no difference in between! What is same thing on both examples? Both of drivers were outta of their mind, PERIOD!

:sigh: Few teenage that I know them were died and some hurts

How?

SPEED!
DRINK and DRIVE.
Cell phones or pagers
and sex during drive.

Old farts dont. You dont get it why teenage have high insurance till 25.

I had to laugh as it brought up a memory of a story put into the Wash Post years ago. Older driver is in fast lane of the beltway and he realized that his exit was coming up. Without looking, he went across all four lanes to the exit ramp leaving a trail behind him. A little later on, he hears on the news about a terrible accident by a crazy driver and he said "What with drivers these days?"

So true...
 
what can you do when you know an old person who is very sick...
and you try to tell that old person not to drive and give up the license?

Well My mom told her 90 years old Aunt to don't drive anymore.
And her Aunt said no.

Because last week, she had some memory loss, and have
many blackouts, because doctor told her she has an artery blockage
in her neck, the blood won't go to her brain. And she refused
to have surgery to remove the blockage from her neck...
and want to still drive.

What can my mom do? :Ohno:
 
So scary when older folks driving on the road!

I never forgotten what happened to me that was a old lady drove in wrong way toward me while i was driving in right way to downtown from the mountain and i could not believe what she did as she thought that i drove wrong way but HELL NO! :Ohno: LOL and i had to move my car next to the mini truck was traveled down. She should not be driven like that kind of condition. GEEZ! That was about 6 to 9 years ago!!
