Satellite Images Show Arctic Ice At Another Low | Universe Today

ESA - Observing the Earth - Arctic ice on the verge of another all-time low

See how small the Arctic ice cap is becoming. The dotted route had been open for a month and the solid one is almost open. The lowest extent of ice coverage tends to be in September, so it could get lower than this over the next month.

And there is 30% more summer Arctic sea ice now than it did back in 2007 at this exact time when everybody was blubbering and panicking needlessly about how the Arctic sea ice will disappear within a few years. We're less than a few weeks away from the lowest extent of Arctic sea ice before it starts packing more ice as weather turns colder.
