I posted a few days ago asking for advice on a wireless TTY/pager. Read that post a few down to get my history. After more research, I've become somewhat familar with how this all works. My goal is have a PDA the following services:

-TTY compatible for use with Krown PocketComm for VCO calls
-text messaging
-IP-relay account for sending and receiving relay calls, messages via email option
-Web browsing/AIM

These are the main services I need, other services such as calender, etc. will also be useful.

I like the Nokia 6822 and it seems to have all I need. Is there any reason I shouldn't choose this over the SKII? Are there others that I should take a hard look at? Also, if I brought a SKII, do I have to have the service thru T-mobile? My company will possibly be buying this and their account is with Unicel.

Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!

Tim

I have Nokia 6822. It's better than Sk2 for quick internet. Easy for fit in pocket unlike sk2.

Edge,

Can you explain what the terminal program is for? I want to make sure I have everything I need to know before asking the company for this.

Thanks.

It said for Nokia 6800/6810/6820, it will work on 6822, also.

I use that SHH terminal program to make connect with ip-relay. It need data package. (like internet)

Thanks for the info. Edge! I'm quite sure I'm going with the Nokia 6822. My company is looking into it and if they can't set up a plan with Unicel, I may purchase on my own and put on expense account.

The SKII doesn't need a terminal program to connect to IP relay. If you want TTY on it Google Lormar Logic. I believe it has to be on TMobile though.
