DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Lottery officials say nobody has won the Powerball jackpot and the top prize will now increase to about $425 million for the next drawing, the largest jackpot ever for the game.

Iowa Lottery spokeswoman Mary Neubauer said sales were strong over the holiday week for Saturday's drawing, which was estimated at $325 million before the numbers were picked. That was the fourth-largest jackpot in the game's history.

Neubauer says the jackpot for Wednesday's drawing could go even higher than the estimated $425 million because sales pick up in the days before record drawings.

The previous top Powerball prize was $365 million, won in 2006 by ConAgra Foods Workers in Lincoln, Neb.

The Powerball numbers for Saturday were 22-32-37-44-50, and the Powerball was 34.

Well.....get ready everybody!...If I win....all my friends at AD are gonna get a check from me...Noone needs $425M...!!...First, I'll buy my own Jet and fly around to see everyone...and come down the chimney (just like Santa does)...and put a check under your Xmas Tree....
 
I'm going to be winning :lol: My hands have been crazy itchy for 2 weeks!!! or maybe I just have a fungus from touching someone's funky feet ;) Don't think so though, I can't see anything on my skin that would be making it be so itchy. So I'm winning I'm winning I'm winning. :giggle:

Wow, that is really amazing that you want to do that for all of us if you win the 425 million dollars. Rarely, no millionaires or billionaires could not have done this except to use charity which they can do that but to drop some checks off in the chimney or to come in front of the door. You are the most generous person which we never knew you. I am floored. Wow. :shock: Also speechless. :ty:
 
No chimney?....didn't think of that...so it seems I'm gonna have to have some little Elves to help me here......
