I am always seeing ads with something for sale with words mentioned above. Why is it necessary to mention that the China cabinet will look nice in your house?

Do we need to mention that the bike is in a beautiful condition. Worthy of going to beach with!!!

Come on, get real!! Why not ride bike to beach and take picture there. Let pictures speak million of words. No need to mention that bike will look good at beach. Take picture and go from there.

Same with furnitures. Why take pictures from 10 feet away and proclaim that it looks very nice!! Why not learn some skills with photography. Take some nice upclose pictures. Let them speak volume of what you are trying to sell.
 
What about ads that said something is 'new and improved' ? Does this mean it was crap before? The ads are trying to get your attention and to convince you your life will be 100 % better with their product. If I wanted to sell you another dog , I would not say 'the dog is OK looking" I would say " I have a beautiful friendly dog you just have to see!" The ads trying to get people 'excited' about giving their $$$ away and not think about how much the item cost.
 
Not sure if I like the "new and improved" idea. If I fixed bike, I would explain exactly what I did not just I fixed the bike for you.

I thought you where talking about ads we see on TV all the time. I agree "new and improved is not a good idea for bikes.
