Thank you for filling the news about the wildfires that almost came upon Los Alamos. Los Alamos is not that far from Santa Fe where my sister and her husband live. If the firefighters had contained and put the fires out, then they might be safe. I am worried about both families in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Wildfires are really bad.
I had one here when we had a wildfires very close to our reserve, M'Chigeeng First Nation. It was near the dump place where we put garbages in. We were all shock about this. They said it is weather related to lightning from the storm. Not camping ground.
