Ohio State engineers have invented a radar system that is virtually undetectable because its signal resembles random noise. The radar could have applications in law enforcement, the military and disaster rescue.

Stealth Radar System Sees Through Trees And Walls Undetected

There are NO law enforcement uses of this without first obtaining a Search Warrant. SCOTUS has already determined these uses of FLIR to be an invasion of privacy. If a cop can't peek through a crack in the blinds or curtains. Looking through the wall is a big NO NO.The ACLU should Challenge this to the US Supreme Court.

This will never be won in the courtroom. There was a case of no search warrant on vehicle searches, and that case was lost, why? The court decision is that based on the fact that the vehicle is on the public highway, therefore police have the right to search without search warrant. Police can NOT search your vehicle without search warrant *IF* that vehicle is on private property! So, challenge that radar detector based on that search warrant law is without merit anyway.

Whats happens if the supreme court declares this unconsitutional? Remember the death penalty was once unconsitutional Remember 1973 ruling?
