This site is an excellent new news and community site for the deaf. It has been created by a deaf person and aims to "alleviate the isolation and loneliness felt by many deaf people and their families." It is a very accessible site and easy to use, allowing people to get information they ought to know about 'Deaf Life'. Information on deaf social events and pub nights are more UK specific but that aside, it is a must visit for anyone in the deaf community whether they are in Ireland, N-Ireland or Great Britain. Sections within this site include, Sport, which details deaf sporting events and football leagues, World News, Entertainment, Photographs, Education and Youth Exchange. There are also message boards for Points of View, Vacancies, Pen Pals, Sales and Dating. If you are interested in discovering more about deaf Education, the education section details Deaf awareness and lists several schools of interest. This is a well thought out site and definitely worth of a visit.
