I'd rather wait until the court days are over before saying anything. As of this moment, these guys are STILL innocent. I only can call them guilty afterwards under the court of law.

That's right. Innocent until proven guilty so the prosecutors have to prove that they are guilty as charged. If the prosecutors have witnesses to tell a court that those officials knew about the child rapes by Jerry and didn't do anything about it, they will be found guilty.

Witness has only 10% weight of the proof. What it means that the accuracy of witness is only 10%. Have to have hard evidence like videotaping, other methods of showing evidence.

I have seen a video showing how unreliable witness were and I couldn't believe how they twisted the story. One of college of criminal justice did experiment showing how reliable witness are. All students but one flunked the witness test. Professor did this on purpose and it proved, wow!

Other one where it proves that witness is not always reliable, if you know the movie called "12 angry men" where the witness was present and explained the details, one juror was right, he (Juror) said the claim of witness is impossible. Later found out that the witness just want a fame that is all and the claim that witness said was inaccurate. Mind you, the witness actually wears eyeglasses and the witness said he heard a loud bang, woke up and saw that guy that murdered his own dad. Juror proved that got up immediately without eyeglass and it was other apartment, the witness walks very slowly. How could he really sees the details? No way! so they threw witness claim out. Ended up with not guilty verdict.

Yep, and I hope every Juror doing whats called "Reasonable doubt", if there is reasonable doubt, can not vote as guilty. Unfortunately some don't give damn. I believe in fair trial and justice.

I remember reading an article about one witness who saw what happened and reported it to the officials who didn't take any actions at all. That's why they are currently charged. I wonder if the witness reported it to the police instead, would it make a difference?

Good question, possible that when witness explained the details that may cast doubts, then Police may not go after.

There is law against double jeopardy, meaning if DA and police can't prove in trial with result of not guilty (Acquittance) then later found hard evidence, they can not bring back the trial. That's why sometimes cops and DA decided to wait for harder evidence to get guilty verdict in the first place.
