I was on Ubuntu with Windoz XP running inside Virtual Box. I've updated XP and clock and date synched with Ubuntu's clock and date. Everything went well and installed Sliverlight then ran Netflix. No problem on first day. Then 2nd day and 3rd day, I get error message from Netflix while loading up movie stating that Date and time not correct. I was really puzzled and checked XP's date and time. It's up to current. I decide to wait next day to see if it goes away. On 3rd day, NOT!!

I decide to adjust Date to "tomorrow" in XP in VB and see what happened. Ran Netflix and it ran fine without DRM error message. Strange!!

What make me wonder why Ubuntu and XP inside Virtual Box don't synch. There are some few thing in my mind:

1. Virtual Box with XP running inside of it may be off by one day behind even showing current date and time.

2. Ubuntu changes Time and Date not what according to BIO's time and date even it's set to correct Time Zone (like if I ran Ubuntu, it set its "current" time while boot to XP showing wrong time and date on lower right corner. My laptop no longer showing wrong time and date when running Windows 7 after switching from Ubuntu during reboot.

3. Netflix DRM may be screwy.

What ya think!??

I hate Virtual Box so much and it's sucks and keeps bugs for almost everything.

Vmware FTW!
