I wasn't sure if I would get the most response here or in Products & Tech. So . . . mods please make sure it is in the best place.

I have a T-Mobile Concord and have trouble using the virtual keyboard. Since it has Android 2.3.7 on it I thought a bluetooth keyboard would help. It finds the one I got but then I get the message "Sorry but HID device is not supported on this phone". I am wondering if it is a matter of a driver that could be downloaded to thus get it to work????

The phone with the problem is running on a pre-paid T-Mobile account.

The keyboard pairs, connects and works on an AT&T Avail 2 (a ZTE Z992) with Android 4.1.1 that is on an AT&T MVNO.

I'm not sure about this, but I believe you'd need an Android device 4.0 or greater to use that on. My phone itself has Bluetooth, but it's 2.3.6, but my tablet may or may not have Bluetooth, but it's 4.1.1, and if it does, it's likely to work better with the tablet than with the phone. My suggestion is to find a phone 4.0 or greater-- increase your chances of success, if I'm not mistaken (I could be; I have no idea).
