Apple OSX Users!,
My wife had problem with Epson Workforce 615 wireless printer communication with OSX Snow Leopard 10.6. We had it for over 6 months.
What happened was that last early summer, It was perfectly fine since she bought Apple Powerbook and Epson printer. Until I decide to use Fax on printer. I wired the phone cord to printer then sent application to company. After successful faxing, I unplugged the phone cord and changed the setting in printer to turn off the fax. My wife tried to print documents from her Apple notebook but printer won't print. I have gone over Apple's Epson printer software and it look fine to me but it won't communicate with printer.. I had friend who are expert with Apple OSX (he own apple too) and he have spent half of the night tying to fix the problem. He uninstalled and installed printer software, installed updated printer software via download, installed previous version software ect. It still won't communicate with it. Printer software did show printer's IP address correctly and is connected. We've gone through printer's settings and it's not much we can do since it's been set correctly as instructed.
I get blamed by my wife for screwing up the connection but my friend told me it's never my fault. He said it have to do with OSX Snow Leopard's issue with Epson printer software. It's been finicky on that. Internet connection between OSX and Router had no problem.
Funny thing are that, My Tuxbox (Ubuntu laptop or desktop), Windows laptops and desktops all recognized and connects with wireless Epson Workforce 615 printer with NO ISSUE and it prints out just perfectly fine regardless If I use printer as fax and change setting. My wife had to use either Ubuntu or Windows to print out document

What all broils down to Apple OSX issue. MY friend told me that no matter how hard he tried and still can't get it fixed. He was surprised that it was tough to get it fixed. I told him if firewall an issue with Apple or D-Link DIR-655 Extreme N Router. We've checked router settings and it all set correctly and its firewall been turned off as always. We do see IP address coming from printer itself on Apple OSX. He tried to check OSX's firewall and it was set correctly. But printer won't just print for OSX.
