need help living own on our own

Hello alisha and I just got our apartment for the first time. Well we arived at the apartment and we found phone jacks, that are dead and we need to cal a phone company to activate them

Now thus our dilimma we are deaf yet do we need to pay long distance calls for when we can use the internet or my sidekick while we can call relay?

Is there any phone company who has discounts for deaf people?

How much does it cost to have high speed internnet access to put in?

We live in wyoming,mi any input would be most usefull

Oh yea I do have a tty and vr she isn't being that big of a help..

why ask us? why dont u go over the phone co and ask them? ask them about phone discounts..or go to friends house and look in phone book then call them>? they have tty nbr in there for phone co.

for high speed internet access.. like i said call around and find out how much it cost for it to be activiated. several are listed in phone book so look ?

i found this especially asking questions about long distance, sk and internet? anyone agree with me on this? hmm

somethings for new address at post office a booklet of coupons and free things from ace .

I am sure since this is a federal program that if you get food stamps , or heap a phone discount is there but to many restrictions we are finding flat rate it the best here in US .

Depends where in Wyoming you live, I'm sure. Here in Laramie to get high speed internet, cable and phone in one package costs something like $120 a month (not exact on that, so don't quote me).
