During our daily walks, you see
We roam the parks, my canine and me
Looking for things, pleasing the eye
Wonderful things in the land, water and sky
My canine friend and I do our best
To recognize all of Nature's guests
Walking and playing is what we like best
Nature, you know, does all the rest
Like the many birds that come to nest
In early Spring they pair and rest
Next, they will build the home they'll bless
With new life, they'll fill that amazing nest
Many things the seasons show
All this happens as they come and go
You can watch the birth of life, you know
The rivers always high or low
As the seasons pass us by
There are many changes in the sky
Trees and shrubs don't get a rest
The climate puts them to the test
The trees see all, like children playing
All types of sports and people are saying
Isn't the foilage lovely this year
Oh, by the way I spotted a Deer
I saw Ducks too, fifty or more
With colors and markings you'd adore
A little feed will draw them close
To you the host, giving the most
In the fall, the birds leave their nest
Their far away journey gives little rest
Some will stay, but very few
The leaves will fall as they usually do
Making a blanket on the forest floor
Spectacular colors all will adore
Now comes winter, cold and fast
Ice will form that looks like glass
The snow will cover all things that grow
It's a blanket of protection you know
Almost everwhere, God's creatures are still
The blowing winds can cause quite a chill
Squirrels are quietly nestled away
Eating the food they stored, by the way
Except for the Deer who dig in the snow
While predators, they hunt and grow
All life waits for the coming of Spring
Birds will arrive and start to sing
Their young one's again, will come out and play
It's a must, for adults to plan every day

It's really wonderful you know
To realize how lucky we are
To see the rising sun and the stars
While Astronauts talk about going to Mars
We can all thank God the world is still ours
