Proud mum Jackie Mason cuddles daughter Sammy after listening to every magical word of her school nativity play.
And it was an extra-special performance for Jackie, 34 - who was born profoundly deaf.
The mum of three's hearing has been restored with a cochlear implant.
She still has to wear a special earpiece, right. But Sammy, five, Rebecca, seven, and Nicola, two, no longer have to tap her shoulder to get her attention.

Jackie, a part-time business manager from Worsley, Greater Manchester, wiped away tears of joy as she said: "It's wonderful. It has turned my life around."
