Hi All

I'm Glenn from Ellensburg, Washington.

I'm a post-baccalaureate student at Central Washington University. My major is Information Technology & Administrative Management. I hope to finish in March 2010. I've also got a B.A. in English.

As a student, I've been experiencing bad problems with the school's Center for Disability Services. The issues are mostly related to the director's inability to provide adequate services to deaf students. The administration just looks the other way. I have done a lot of things to try to correct the situation, but so far have not found any success.

My hope is to get the word out about CWU. Deaf? Stay far away. They don't want to support you.
 
It's been the worst situation. The fact that he's made it so far and finally the end is in sight is a testimony to his intelligence and sheer tenacity. It makes me so angry to see the hardships that go above and beyond what anyone should have to face trying to get an education. He's never asked for anything more than adequate accommodations for the level of classes he is taking. Glenn doesn't ask for special treatment and would balk if it were offered. His ethics would not allow that. All he needs and all he asks for is the same opportunity to succeed as anyone else.
 
The admin is being so stubborn. It's very frustrating.

I meant to say that the interaction between the both of you is absolutely adorable ;) if you act 12 then you will still act older than most members here :giggle:

We can be a couple of goobers that's for sure but we have fun. We have a lot of fun.
Remember what I told you about what to look forward to. :D
