This is what I cook up when ever I go in them mountain treks. You can even stockpile the ingreidents and cooking equipment safely in the hills for future treks or emergency.
Mix the exact contents of;
2 cans diced vegtables
1 can chicken broth
1 big can of spicy jalapeno refried beans
and 1/8 cup of balsamic vinegar to create a beefier taste
into a large pot.
Mix it good till it starts steaming. Not only is it a hearty and wholesome fix, its also a protein rich fix.
Feeds 3 hungry hikers or a small family at lunch time. Recipe is simple.
Now its the perfect time to enjoy the mountains.
