It has come to my attention that Utah does not own more than two known deaf schools, one in Ogden being a deaf/blind combination. I feel this is unfair because some deaf or blind children live farther from the schools, which means they have to wake up earlier than normal just to be taken to their blind/deaf school. Also, some blind or deaf children have other disabilities, which may interfere with walking or other forms of transportation. Furthermore, I believe that people will save more money on

gas and transportation that they could spend on the much

needed education that a person’s child can now obtain.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

the writer seems to think that it's an actual sizable school. It's just a bunch of oral programs with a voice off school in SLC.
I do think that Utah should create programs for oral successes to learn ASL, and have schools where dhh kids can be grouped. I also think it might be a good idea to group the blind kids together too....
