BOLEY, Okla. Authorities say a deaf-mute who went missing from a Boley facility has been found alive.

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol pilot spotted 52-year-old Richard Hensley face down in a wooded area around 4 P-M yesterday. Hensley was a half-mile northeast of where he was reported missing.

An ambulance transported him to a hospital in Okemah. His condition wasn't immediately available.

Hensley was discovered missing from the Firm Foundation on Thursday morning but his disappearance wasn't reported to authorities until that night.

The highway patrol says it became involved in the search at the request of the Boley Police Department, but weather conditions delayed a search by air until 1 P-M yesterday.

While flying through a wooded area, O-H-P pilot Jim Bullock noticed what appeared to be white tennis shoes, troopers said. After a second, lower pass Bullock determined it was a body.

He directed trooper Mike Choate, who was on the ground, to the area where Hensley was found.
