(skip to 0:40). Bus driver saves child by blocking the way of an overtaking motorist.

As the bus blocked the way, there was a sound of car slamming on the brake, tires screeching. Please teach your child to look before he/she crosses and look again. I do this all the time in NYC. I do not continue to cross until all vehicles come to full stop.

Good idea, or put yellow flash on, or put your hand out of window so other cars behind me know not to pass.
