My local telephone is Verizon and I use AT&T for
long distance calls. I rarely use long distance
phone calls.

I just got a letter today from Verizon a new offer
to do both the "Verizon Regional Package" and
new 5 cents a minute long distance plan... Unlimited
local calls and most popular calling services all in
one convenient package.

With this Verizon Regional Package, you can talk
all you want with unlimited, direct-dialed local and
toll calls. Plus you can better manage your calls
with five of the most popular calling services
including:

Caller-ID
Call Waiting
Three-Way Calling

All just for $34.95 a month

Now you can get a great rate on long distance. You will enjoy
a 5 cents a minute rate all day, ever day on all your
in-state and state-to-state direct dialed calls anywhere
in the US.

Even though I'm Deaf I rarely use
"Call Waiting, Three-Way Calling"
They are NOT useful for me at all.. I still like
to use the Caller-ID...
I RARELY make long distance phone calls.
However, my telephone bill average
about $50 a month.

Should I go ahead sign up for this
Verizon Regional Package and
5 cents a minute long distance plan ? even tho
I probably will never use Call Waiting, Three-Way Calling
and long distance calls anyway... Would this be worth
for me to sign up and save about $15 a month ?
What do u think ?

I already have Comcast Cable and High Speed Internet....
I was hoping to find any basic telephone cheapest
package anything... I might have to sign up Verzion package
just to keep the phone nbr for only $34.95 monthly
but I'm not sure yet

Got a videophone? Try using only that for a while - You're already paying for internet.

Absence of telemarketers is very noticeable! The calls made through the VP-100 or DVC-1000 are very clear.

Phone number's are overrated.

Gotta have a voice plan? Get a cellphone for same price for more minutes than you'll ever use/need.

All I want is to keep the same old telephone number...
WITHOUT these call waiting and/or three way calling

Even tho I will be getting videophone sometime it might
take awhile... But, I am NOT talking about videophone..
I'm NOT talking about cell phones neither...

All I want is to keep my old telephone number the same
Thanks !
:)

I read somewhere that Verizon DSL service price will be changed from 35 to 37 bucks starting at the 3rd week of March. I am pissed off about that. I still have my same phone number since I signed up the DSL service a year ago.

I never heard of the medicaid related to this Verizon...

Yes , you can ask your verizon about medicaid, they will discounting your bills like up to 60 percents off.. down to under 18 to 22 dollars a month... cause you are deaf or other diseases/illness!!
