The hospital wants an 280 gallon tank to be installed inside and I think its a pretty cool idea. I shall be the one constructing it. (Some time in future.) So looking at different ideas. Any fish you recommend for the tank or any designs. For now I have this one picture in mind...

And this is idea number 2 [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1i4ebe5UyY]under water waterfall aquascape - YouTube[/ame]

I generally like sucking fish that can clean the tank. Get 2 or 3 of them if possible. I forgot what type of fish that is. My family had one of them in their small fish tank.

Great luck on the project. It looks good for hospital to be doing that.

Yeah , I hope you will put a sign up telling people to 'Not to tap on the fish tank!" When I see running water I have to go pee . I am not sure about other people. The second one is nicer to me. I hope it next to a bathroom .

I imagen you are talking of plecos or cories. The plecos can get pretty big and yeah I am thinking of the second one it just means less space for fish. Has for the bathroom...its close enough.

Plecos are what my family had. We never had Cories before. Maybe get 1 or 2 of each kind.

Cories have to be in sholas of 6 at least. what tank size do you have? Plecos can be on their own pretty much but need a large tank.

I don't have a tank any more. I never had Cories so I would not know. When my family had a Pleco, tank was like 2.5 feet long, 1.5 feet tall. It was not a very big tank. It would fit on a shelf.

I would say 20ish gallons? I might be wrong...yeah...that might be small for the pleco. I used to have many tanks but right I would be th eoen taking acre of them, because im here they had to be given away. My mom is taking care of the guppy tank still, she didn't give that one away. But I do plan on getting more tanks when im back home. I want to give a tyr to saltwater tank too.

Probably 20 gallons. I cannot remember as I was a kid back then. We never had a saltwater tank. Just a regular tank.

still cool. There has always bene fish tnak sin my house. my mom likes fish and I guess I got into the hobby as a kid too. Then I also started to make tanks and I usually sell them locally. A lot fo thigns can be made into a tank.

Picture it.... Baby Nemo's.... as far as the eye can see! :laugh2: Just kidding, I don't know squat about fish, but I think they're very pretty! :D

If i had experince with saltwater fish then i would but i dont. And i dont want the fish dying lile crazy. But maybe ill go woth discus fish. Just look them up. They are pretty nice fish.

Don't know what this is... but it's pretty! :D

If i am right its a dragonfish. Dont trust me too much in it. But defenetly saltwater fish.

It's so pretty! :D If I had the time to take care of something so exotic I'd do it! Not to mention learning how to take care of it.... and the money.... I'm sure they're pricey! :( Still, very pretty fishy! :D

Depending if its freshwater or saltwater. Saltwater will be mkre expensive
But usually its only when you start up the tank. Also the size has its thing. Freshwater can be relatively cheap depending on fish you get. And if you know how to breed them. And know what fish go with whay. But if you ever wanna start a tank. Ask me. I know most of my stuff.

Well of you get something like oscar fish they might have dofficulty since the oscar might see the cat as breakfast too. There is a fish that is larger....forgot name... but yeah cat will try to snack on them. There is ways to prevent thay though.

:laugh2: My cats are huge... and I don't mean fat huge. I have a Savannah and a Bengal cat. Small dogs could be a snack for them... :laugh2:
