Jasmine Diaz Arrested For Allegedly Running Over Frankie Hernandez And Killing Him Over iPhone Spat

A 25-year old woman from the Bronx has been charged with manslaughter and leaving a crime scene after she allegedly used her vehicle to run down and kill a 17-year old on Wednesday.

According to The New York Post, Jasmine Diaz took out her anger over a broken iPhone on her alleged teenager boyfriend Frankie Hernandez, accusing Hernandez of destroying the phone.

The couple left the Concourse Village apartment where they had been arguing, when police officials say Diaz allegedly got into her Lincoln Navigator SUV and slammed into Hernandez several times.

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said she allegedly "floored the engine" to run him down. The victim's brother described the tragedy:

"I heard her say, ‘You f--ked up my phone! I heard the rubber burning, and saw her just drive off. By the time I got to him, he was trying to talk, but just bubbles came out. This wasn’t an accident."

Kelly detailed Diaz had been drinking prior to the incident.

Hernandez was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Rage...this lady needed help..and it never ceases to amaze me how some people value electronics more than a human life. Had a friend whose boyfriend beat the crap out of her when she accidentally dropped his phone in the toilet.

I'd say this is the side effect of Apple Inc. changing the minds of the younger generation.

If you own an Apple device and are 13-35 years old, it automatically makes you cool in front of your peers. Losing an apple device makes you uncool. So she felt totally uncool losing it and went in a hissy fit to kill her .. 8 year younger boyfriend.
