Hi everyone. How is your Labor Day weekend going? Mine's pretty boring. The Labor Day blues I call it. I kind of miss working. :-( Weird thing to say eh?

What's the most interesting thing you've done this weekend?

I practiced throwing knives for a knife throwing competition. My arm is sore. Ouch.
 
I fell down in my driveway and the lowest joint of my right thumb is very swollen. I am wondering if I broke it, but it still moves.

For this I should get a prize for least exciting Labor day weekend event.
 
Staying home and boredom :(

Not Labor Day Blues. "Blue Monday" – officially the most depressing working day

I think throwing knives is very interesting! Hope your arm feels better soon. :lol:

I went out with the girls Thursday, Friday, and Sunday nights. Had plans for today to work out at the gym and swim in the pool with a friend, but I came down with the freaking flu! It sucks. Talk about a blue Monday! :aw:
 
My most interesting thing so far was to go over my clothes budget by going on a shopping spree and going too crazy! I needed new clothes but I think I bought too much. OOOPS!
 
As so far I just woke up about an hour ago. :lol: So we'll clean up the house and BBQ tonight for our dinner. YUMMY! And babysit my friend's son start tmw just for this week. Extra cash, nice! :) But it'll go to my son's 'new' dresser. He'll be happy with it since I'll paint it. And add new hardwares as well.
 
Painting a dresser sounds like fun. Babysitting does too. My sister has 2 daughters I love babysitting but they live too far away. I do not have any kids of my own so my house is sort of boring. We are going to a birthday party today though. I am excited about it.
 
What's a birthday party without a date?:lol: I might ask you out on a date thought.:D
 
Ahh yeah Labor Day weekend must have been a lackluster way to do so... I could have been camping with my 2 brothers and their families in northeastern Minnesota for this weekend but ahh I turned down the invite... I should have said to hell with the lame timing and packed up and went....now I am kicking myself in the ass for this, but I guess I will have to make do... however it wasnt a downer as I went to a small party hosted by a buddy of my 3rd brother... so it balanced out a bit.. oh well....
 
I just got back home from work from 7 am to 2 pm, it was boring but at least I get some money to cover what I lost from Enterprise.

LOL.. it turned out to be a great birthday party. I went with my boyfriend. Despite how the weekend went, the actual Labor Day was fun. Stuffed myself with food, ate cake, picked on people, got into mischevious trouble. Now I am home relaxing.
 
Labor Day Blues ? Naw, not for me. :lol: My significant other and I kiss and hug each other alots. Very affectionate to each other. We tease each other, too. LOL

I guess, our Labor Day today is a blessed for us afterall ! :D

Aww...damn. At least I tried,lol. Glad to heard u had a great party, while I'm stuck in this hellhole but hey at least I'm getting tan tomorrow at the beach...oh wait it's cold...nope not here, not in Puerto Rico :nana:
 
I didn't do much either for the Labor Day but got to spend some quality time with my sons, so after all it's good. :)

The only downside of this is - I'm not looking forward to go to work tomorrow, Blah!
 
throwing knives?!?! i would better avoid her because if i upset her, and she'll throwing knives at my rear. YIKES.. ha, just kiddin' :]

Labor weekend went very nice for me.. bbq, hang out with family and friends, watch NFL games (its only pre season, but who cares) and bar to drink it up. Good weekend. Now, i have to gone back to work and i could have to say [bleep].
