Glad to see him back. We need all views expressed. Assuming the election goes the way I think it will, I look forward to seeing his group on the defensive if the economy stays stagnant. We can start posting the Republican bashings tomorrow, right? :giggle:

Of course we can.

They will try....they will get quashed.....and hope for bigger gains in 2012. 2 years of gridlock now but at least that might slow the spending. I don't see obama changing into his Clinton costume any time soon.

Already making excuses for your team's failure to produce. Jumping the gun a bit.

And he'll try and claim a new era of "bipartianship" when he never bothered with such an idea over the last 18 months with his nose in the air sniffing, "I won!"

A) Not my team

B) How exactly are Republicans supposed to make changes with control of only one house? The best they can do now is play defense and wait for reinforcements.

So why they didn't make changes when Bush Senior and Bush Junior and their roundup pals had unprecedented control of American democratic system?

I means... the Midterm Election of 2002 gave the Republicans power they never had: a Republican House, a Republican Senate, a Republican president and even a Republican-biased Judaical.

So why did your best friends did not make the changes Americans wanted to see?

Maybe they did. :)

That's the past though.....We have new problems to deal with now.

Obviously they didn't, otherwise the Democrats wouldn't had regained control in 2006 and 2008 by a landslide. If they made the changes Americans wanted to see, the Republicans still would have been in power before the 2010 Midterm Election. So what "new problems" It's the same problems from the '70s and '80s. All Republicans and Democrats are doing is patching up the leaks from the alternating administrations.

Funny thing, that is about the same time the job market shriveled. We did create some military careers though, and some jobs at ordnance factories. The thing that scares me is that these Conservative "mouths" are hoping for a repeat. What's the matter guys, you prefer your yard boys to speak English?

Well said. Patching the leaks and covering their asses.

The bold speaks volumes. That is why there was very little useful legislation to come down the pike. Granted there was a lot of debt creation, and that is not a good thing. Somehow a little bipartisanship might have worked better than a "vote NO" agenda. Tell me this; why did Bush Jr drive us into debt if things were working so well? He spent too much and the economy sunk to the toilet.
