Journey Inc., which is a joint venture of Charlotte-based CICS Language Solutions < www.cicslanguagesolutions.com > and Interpreters Inc. in Raleigh has been awarded a contract by Mecklenburg County Mental Health Authority to provide mental health and case management services to Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing and Deaf-Blind consumers in Mecklenburg County. Journey Inc. provides these services to consumers in Mecklenburg, Gaston, Lincoln, Cleveland, Union, Cabarrus, Stanly, Rowan and Davidson counties.
CICS Language Solutions is headquartered in Charlotte, with an office in Asheville doing business as BRIA Language Solutions and Raleigh doing business as Interpreters Inc. The firm serves clients throughout the Carolinas and the Southeast.
Founded in 1994 by nationally certified American Sign Language interpreters Cheryl Pfeiffer and Rick Haffner, CICS Language Solutions specializes in overcoming language barriers through onsite interpreting, telephone interpreting, video interpreting and document translation.
