Is your buddy your true friend or not?

Since you've been member here at AD for a long time...Since We've grown to get to know each others...Vent our feelings, frustrated, etc etc...

When NON-Members come here to read our threads/posts...they discovered who we really are...

Your buddy finally sees you in person...yells at you that your buddy has been reading your threads/posts..Your buddy tells you what he/she thinks of you about your voicing your opinions and express your feelings...(your buddy isn't member here at all)

Also, your buddy admits to you when deafies ask him/her that you are his/her friend...and your buddy tells deafies, "shh shh"...your buddy is embarrass that you are his/her friend and dont want deafies to know...:ugh:

Do you think this buddy is a true friend at all?

A true friend should *NOT* be embarrass or ashamed about you being his/her friend!

You are 100% right about this--I'm not embarrassed about being friends with you or Sweetmind here. I even tell in my siggy who my fiancee/girlfriend is.
 
It is not only happen here, it can happen in other forums as well. Because of username they are well-aware since they have the same usernames in the email..etc. So once they read your posts, they simply attack you or "hey, you spilling bean!" yelling at ya. If they do attack you in either physical or verbal, this person is not really your friend at all.

Even though, a person may has his/her own right to privacy outside of the forums. Again, we do have the right to vent our angers regarding this person. Sometimes, it's silly that they thought we're using their names in the posts. They need to realize there is NO name of theirs in the post. Just an anonymous or fictious name to protect him/her. Again, they will continue to attack any member. Sucks. I don't have any one looking in the posts and attack me yet. Hopefully not.

I might re-consider of changing my username to Cherokee (tsalagi) name. Dunno yet. :D

Ive been through that situation before... Thats why I perfer to have at least 1 or 2 friends... Thats all and Im happy with that... True friends should never stab you behind your back.... WRONG! A lot of people doesn't know how to deal with deafies, but if they are your true friend they will learn quick and be a good friend to you... Im a quite person and not the type of person who hangs out in the crowed... NAH! Too much dramam..

A true friend should NOT be emabarrass or ashamed for who you are or the person.. Screw them and go on with the next person... Eventually everyone will come across a true friend... Mostly it's there boyfriends or hubbys I believe :angel:
