Is Sweat good for you?

Some people say the more you exercise along with a good sweat the longer youll live.I dont think thats true or not.
 
no.. its just that your body is working hard to keep your body cool hence why your body sweat it is trying to keep you cool thats all.

if you dont sweat .. thats bad sign.. you could be going in heat exhaustion or heat stroke and end up in hospital fighting for your life. its not funny.. i have been there before with heat exhaustion.. whew!

thats why we all have to hydrate ourselves even tho we are not thirsty??

My co worker who hasn't worked at a job for a long time gets all sweaty and he lost 8 pounds since he joined the job about 2 weeks ago. Poor guy is out of shape.

Many animals have no sweat glands so they pant or go bathe in cool water to keep cool in general.

good weight loss can only occur by speeding up youre metabolism..exercise..
sweat loss is water only..
ther is a myth that saunas are good for weight loss.again only sweat..water..
exercise and keep hydrated,not water only but with electrolytes also,you can have water and still dehydrate..we need salts(electrolytes)

Yes, I heard about this too... I would say yes and no.

As the sweat clean your skin off, when you cool down. It helps to clean pores off... I alway go shower to clean sweat off after ride the bicycle, garden work...

Sweat is good if you sweating a lot after sports, work hard etc., it could be losing too much water through your skin. You have to drink a plenty of water to get liquid back in your body then it won't dry in your body. Don't you know that drink plenty of water helps to lose weight?... Yes it's so. It's not sweat who helps you to lose weight but drink plenty of water to prevent from dry your body... It's help.

Get sweats is normal but sometimes "too much" sweat for no reason (no work hard, execise, etc) could be something wrong or very low sweating may also be life threatening as well. Both signs, you need to check with doctor.

as sombody just said, sweat weight loss is just water loss. on the other hand, a good workout will give you a good sweat but its the workout that causes weight loss, not the sweating. turning up your heat to 100 degrees making you sweat will not cause you to lose anything other than a little water and we are not talking pounds.

get out, do some good excercise and you will be on your way. there are also some other great stuff that can be done to lose weight.

Yep that what my doctor said also....I sweat alot during work cause I work outdoors
 
sweating helps lose weight yes... BUT...























*ugh* smell stinks!

Hahahaha!!! That would be nice if I could do that during my break time :fingersx: but then again I don't have any breaks :cry:
 
I don't know about sweating while exercising but sweat is sweet at times :naughty:
