tehran times : Iran clinches World Deaf Wrestling championship
Iran clinched champion of the World Deaf Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship Contests in Yerevan, Armenia, on Thursday with a score of 64.
Iran stood first in the list, followed by Turkey and Russia each with a score of 50 and 47 respectively, thus winning three gold, two silver and two bronze medals.
The gold medalist on Thursday was Mohammad Mahboubi in the 96 kg category, the silver medalist Mohammad Moradi in the 74 kg category and the bronze medalist Mahmoud Beigizadeh in the 60 kg category.
The free wrestling contests in the 55, 66, 84, and 120 kgs too will start as of Saturday.
