Hello! I am a hearing person involved in a Deaf Culture and Community course at my college...I am hoping to find Deaf members who would be willing to answer my questions for a project I am doing. Any responses to the following questions would be appreciated, thank you!

1. For you personally, what makes the Deaf community different and unique compared to other subcultures/communities?
2. How do you think mainstream media plays a part in portraying Deaf individuals and the community as a whole?
3. What is your stance on cochlear implants, hearing aids etc.?
4. Have you ever experienced discrimination/audism? If so, what happened and who (i.e law enforcement, waitresses, teachers etc.)?
