I read some information at Mac VS. Pc – The truth illustrated
They still keep off topic.
Why not start new subject on Intel's next generation.

Ok, could you help me to find good motherboard for cheaper when LGA1366 motherboard is release on newegg.

Not yet release....
Just rumor: you will see some story at A 2.66 GHz Nehalem Quad Core Complete System For $894!

Also, you will see few different Motheroard from other companies
Intel Nehalem Socket 1366 Motherboards Emerge at Computex 2008 - PCSTATS.com

No time for me to search more information. Just good enough for now.

If I want i7 Core then I have buy new motherboard (LGA1366) and CPU, that all since HDD, RAM, DVD drive, PSU and others are same.

RAM is backward compatibility with newer motherboard, if DDR3 then it will work on DDR2 RAM, if DDR2 then should work with DDR2 at same time.

Only problem, I can't uninstall the stubborn network driver, I had tried in safe mode and won't work out to uninstall, I would have re-install OS over again if replace into new motherboard, oh damn.

I looked picture of motherboards - Yes, they have SATA. HDD and DVD drive should be fine unless they have IDE for DVD drive.
I need more information DDR3 size compare to DDR2

Good question about PSU. I looked pictures of few different motherboards.
They have two different type plug from power supply. I seem that some of motherboard is okay from P4's Power Supply (with SATA). I do not see any 24 pins ATX Power Supply on motherboard (LGA1366).

Maybe, I am wrong. Still wait to find out more information in near future.

If, you plan to upgrade to new MOBO from Dell. My personal - I never trust Dell's Power Supply or other parts. I helped my son's friend has Dell. It gave me real pain in the neck. Dell hidden true ID from ASUS or ABIT or Intel or other brand.

Not for XPS, it's common to applied on cheaper PC, same with HP but on XPS, you can overclock, change in system or change the motherboard since cheaper Dell PC can't.

PSU should be fine with new motherboard, I use 750 watts PSU.

For RAM, DDR2 and DDR3 are same size for desktop.

There is no backward compatibility for ram. DDR1 to DDR3 are not same key notch position.

Never happen.

750 watt PSU. Lol. Your electric meter goes whiirrrrr and utility would be very excited about it. J/k

I agree with u that Dell and other name branded pc have lousy PSU so use better one to shut up and run.
