Calling anyone who knows some sign language other than ASL! Do you know how to sign "I love you" in different sign languages? Wouldn't it be cool to know the many different signs that each sign language uses?

This project has already begun. 13 different signs have been collected, mainly from European countries - i love you : je t aime [American English ? French] - Sign language dictionary - SPREADTHESIGN.

But I want more! And I want to learn the meanings and origins of these signs - like why is the German (DSG) sign for "I love you" like a butterfly!?

If you know the sign for "I love you" in a sign language other than ASL (or you know something about the origins and meanings of the signs for "I love you") then please email me a video of you doing the sign! My email is david.julian.lawson@gmail.com.

I plan to put all the signs together into one video, and when completed I'll send it out! Wouldn't it be fun to see many different signs for this popular phrase?!

I look forward to hearing from you!
