I renewed my state ID last dec, and it is now Feb, and I Called them, they said I have to come in, but I knew I don't trust them after I haven't gotten my ID in mail, they said 2 to 3 weeks...... I was so :pissed:

Lucky my dad told me one on Capitol campus when I asked him last spring because DMV in Town Square was closed, it is not there anymore- It have been in my mind since if DMV in my town become too lazy to mail my ID, so I went to one on Capitol campus, and I remembering him telling me its by or behind the Sears, so I looked around, so I went in Sears, and I asked empolyee there where it is, so I went up on 2nd floor, and I processed getting my ID, and I asked them what if my ID don't come in mail by time I am flying to Pittsburgh in few weeks, so they made copy of ID picture on paper, telling me to show it with yellow recipt to the airline and TSA (security) when I check in. Soon as after I already paid for my renew ID, I ran into Powercurlz or something (One of AD member from Minnesota) and we chatted for short then I went back to work.

I remember when I took my ID from one in Town Square before they shut it down, my ID come in mail within one to two weeks. Now I know which one to trust.

Have you experinced similar problem?

Working at a DMV is more dangerous as being a high school teacher. You get a lot more than paper airplanes and spit wads heading to you.

I was talking about getting State ID not DL, since I am deafblind, I can't drive..... That is 258 fact... Japan need to think twice about what deaf can and cant do...

Oh yeah.. that's so annoying. My bad. What's the matter with this process being so slow? Just wish the state gave good training to their employees on time management, eh? Hehe. Good luck. :deal:
