I was off post on "Opera Mini issue on BB 8330".

Ever since I downloaded and installed BB OS 4.5.0.77 ..

I'm really thrilled that I am able to have HTML Email which are a NIICE refreshing break from plain ol' plain text Email.

On S/MIME settings, Go on Email mailbox and click Menu button (left button next to trackball) and scroll down to "Options". On Message Options, Scroll down to S/MIME and click on it. Open up and see the list of "AES (XXX-bit) and CAST, RC2, Triple DES. And also Receive Encrypt Attachment Information...

I just simply check mark all S/MIME settings and Receive Encrypted Attachment Information: Automatically

When I recieved first HTML Email. Some of graphics were missing (be expect to see it) but have wording or "Logo" wording in box. What I did was to load up graphics on received Email message, I click Menu button and scrolled and clicked "Get Images" and it'll load up Graphics completely.

Graphics will not load up any previous (old) Email before you had OS Upgrade and MIME setup. It would be 'as is'. Unless you request someone to re-send you Email AFTER you had OS upgrade and MIME all setup.

It all depends on what model of Blackberry, All I know that Curve (8330), World Edition (8830) and newer Pearl can have OS 4.5.xx.xx upgraded.

If you need upgrade your BB to BB OS 4.5, go to "Opera Mini Issue on BB 8330" thread and there is a download Link where you can download new BB OS 4.5. Be sure that you pick the correct BB model for BB OS, There are only two OS download links, keep eye on "8330" and "8830".

Upgrade is very simple and straightfoward. Once you downloaded software and install it. It appears as a BB Desktop Manager. Once you plugged in your BB to USB to PC or Laptop. It'll pop up upgrade. Be sure you select option on add on upgrade other than pre-selected BB OS 4.5. Don't select all cuz you don't need all of them. Some of your apps, games and theme are already on the list so keep it checkmarked. It'll back up old OS and rest of the files already in your BB. Then it'll wipe BB's internal memory then load up new OS 4.5 and then load back all old and new files back to your BB so you don't lose a thing. Be expect that BB will have white screen with sandtime running for long time. Leave it there and don't panic.. It'll get it done on it's own time.

Word of warning, It's your risk and your responsibilty, Don't unplug BB while it is still running OS installation. Leave it there till it's completed installed!!!!!!! Don't point a blame on me!! You want it, you ask for it!!

Average time may take varies depending how fast your PC and USB port speed (if you use old pc with USB 1.1, it'll take longer but with USB 2.0 then it'll be quick.) It took me about 15 to 20 min to complete the upgrade contrast to Crackberry.com blogger who upgraded BB OS took him an hour.

Now for HTML Email, we're equal to Tmo SK user!!
